One family sent me real peacock feathers, and we used it to manipulate, checked the colors and I put it in a vase to decorate the room. Later we painted our own peacock. check it out:

The Peacock
This little group of mine love to read the book "Polar bear, Polar Bear, What do you Hear". We do read several of Eric Carle and Bill Martin Jr books, however, this particular one called their attention, especially the peacock. They just loved this bird, they started calling the book 'the peacock book'. So I followed their interest and we explored some more.
